Malaysia Airlines (MH) is the national carrier of Malaysia, pre Covid-19 operated 61 weekly services from Australia & New Zealand to its hub in KL International Airport (KLIA), Kuala Lumpur. Double daily services from Sydney, 17 weekly services from Melbourne, 8 weekly from Auckland, 12 weekly flights from Perth, 5 weekly from Adelaide and 4 weekly from Brisbane to Kuala Lumpur plus 1 weekly service to Kota Kinabalu from Perth.

Beyond KLIA, Malaysia Airlines connects 59 destinations in 20 countries with a modern fleet of Airbus A380-800, A330-300, A330-200 and Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The network includes extensive domestic and regional coverage across Malaysia. No other Malaysian carrier offers a comparable domestic, regional or global network solution when thinking about travel to, from and within Malaysia.

Malaysia Airlines has been operating in Australia for over 40 years. Our team, based at the Sydney Regional Office, brings wealth of experience ranging from sales, account management, marketing and communication, data analytics, ticketing and reservation, pricing, and customer service. We also have Industry Account Managers based in Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, and South Australia. In addition, we have a team based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Malaysian Hospitality Begins with Us

In 2018, we launched “Malaysian Hospitality Begins with Us” brand campaign globally. This campaign aims to give our customers “a unique end to end experience with warm, genuine, and efficient service from the heart”. It is about making our guests feel like they are home capturing the essence of the country – warm and inviting. The airline code MH even stands for Malaysian Hospitality. Whist Malaysian Hospitality remains at the core of its brand promise, Fly Malaysia campaign launched in 2019 reiterates Malaysia Airlines as the national icon and reminds Malaysians of its proud history and warm hospitality. In partnership with Tourism Malaysia, this campaign heavily promotes Malaysia as the preferred holiday destinations to tourists from all around the world. The key focus is making the Malaysian experience take off the moment a passenger comes onboard. We are elevating this partnership further with Tourism Malaysia by introducing the MH Malaysia Expert agent online training portal. This training will provide you insights to our fleet, lounges, in flight dining offering, branded fare family and many more!
